Gold Coast forward Ryan James hopes the signing of Parramatta hooker Nathan Peats can turn the Titans' NRL season around.
James said on Thursday the Titans playing group welcomed the overnight deal, done to help Parramatta get under the salary cap.
The Titans - who have lost five straight matches to be 13th on the ladder - may feature Peats as early as Monday night's home clash with Sydney Roosters.
"It's great for the club. Hopefully it means some more wins," James said.
