The Titans halves crisis hit fever pitch last night when Beau Henry was taken to the sick bay after doing himself a mischief. Aiden Sezer, Albert Kelly and Beau Henry are all out now. We've lost three halves: that's not even mathematically logical!
Thankfully the Titans have been able to snare Daniel Mortimer from the Sydney Roosters.
In all honesty I never really cared for Mortimer in the past. Sure he could sling a ball like a wizard, he could even dance through a defensive line Fred Astaire and he is as tough as an old boot, but how could any right thinking person truly like him? He played for the Eels and the Roosters!
Now that he's with the Titans he can be truly appreciated for the skillful player that he is. I mean com on, the bloke has played in TWO Grand Finals. He's even won one! He has talent, experience and a blood line so star-studded if he were a horse he'd sell for a mint.
Welcome to the Gold Coast Daniel Mortimer, we look forward to watching you play.
Are you excited about Mortimer's arrival on the Coast?
