Ashley Harrison has announced that this - his 15th year - will be his last in the NRL. Harrison will play out the remainder of the season before pulling the plug.
Harrison leaves behind a grand career.
The Titans lock started his career with the Broncos before moving on to South Sydney and the Roosters until he finally came to settle on the Gold Coast in 2008, the second year since the Titans inception in the NRL.
Throughout his career Ash has won a Premiership with the Broncos, become Captain at Souths and been instrumental in the Maroon's domination of State of Origin for 8 consecutive series'.
At the moment, the Titans are sitting atop the NRL ladder. Hopefully the Titans can remain north of the 8 and send Harrison out toward the end of the finals.
We wish Ash the best for his post-league life and thank him for all the great times.
