I was stunned, left completely slack-jawed. I couldn't believe what I was watching. The Titans were carved to pieces by the higgeldy-piggeldy Tigers, 42-12, on Sunday afternoon.
And the sad thing is that the Titans weren't outplayed by a far superior team.
They were just worlds worse than the Tigers.
Sure it was a complete stinker of a day, the mercury was topping out in the low 30's, but damnit, that's no excuse.
James Tedesco and Luke Brooks teamed up to completely menace the Titans. With even more experience together they could become a pair of absolute killers.
Just to add insult to injury, it looks as though the Titans' Aidan Sezer and Beau Falloon are looking a bit dodgy for next week's game against the Raiders. What makes things even worse is the fact that Sezer and Falloon's only replacements are injured themselves. So things are looking a bit grim on that front.
Who knows? Maybe we will finally see Big Dave Taylor finally have a crack at 5/8.
Did the Titans lose the game because the Tigers played phenomenally well or because the Titans played awfully?
